Structure and Focus

1) Work that displays an understanding of the question, an appreciation of some of its wider implications, and makes a serious attempt to engage with the question set.
2) The structure of the answer will facilitate a clear development of the argument; towards the lower end of the markband candidates will not sustain an analytical approach throughout.
3) Contextual and site specific data will be deployed relevantly. Towards the lower end of the markband candidates may not always bring out the full implications of the evidence cited.
4) Balance still apparent between answers that all display balance, structure and focus. Towards lower end of markband this consistency may begin to waver. Full and accurate referencing and bibliography.
